 Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed to teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.

Babysitters Training
$34.00 - $76.00 per person

Babysitters Training provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.

Life-Threatening Bleeding
$28.00 per person

Gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize life-threatening bleeding and give care for a person with life-threatening bleeding until advanced EMS personnel arrive and begin their care of the person. This skill boost was developed to address the need for training in the use of direct pressure, applying a tourniquet and wound packing to care for life-threatening bleeding. If you are currently certified as an American Red Cross instructor in a qualifying program and have a basic-level certification in Life-threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application, or equivalent (or higher), follow the steps in the “Life-threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application Instructor Bridge” to complete an online bridge. This document is found under the Teaching Resources tab below. If you are currently certified as an American Red Cross instructor in a qualifying program and do not have a basic-level certification in Life-threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application, or equivalent (or higher), follow the steps in the “Life-threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application Virtual Instructor Class” to register for a virtual course.” This document is found under the Teaching Resources tab below.

Head, Neck, And Spinal Injuries
$28.00 per person

This skill boost was developed to address the need for training in recognizing and caring for head, neck and spinal injuries and recognizing and caring for muscle, bone and joint injuries, including the need for training in the use of a rigid splint and a sling and binder. This skill boost also includes additional optional training in the use of a vacuum splint.
