The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® certified CPR/AED course is designed to teach students CPR for victims of all ages, use the automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking. Instruction is given on recognition of life threatening emergencies and basic CPR techniques. It is available to anyone desiring, or required, to obtain the knowledge and skills taught at this level. Upon successful completion of skills demonstration, students will receive their Heartsaver® CPR/AED course completion card which is valid for two years.

The American Heart Association (AHA) Friends and Family Training for First Aid and CPR/AED Course teaches students to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. The course also provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult,child and Infant CPR, and AED. Units include: First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, CPR and CED Certification. CPR/AED course is designed to teach students CPR for victims of all ages, use the automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking. Instruction is given on recognition of life threatening emergencies and basic CPR techniques. It is available to anyone desiring, or required, to obtain the knowledge and skills taught at this level. .
Heartsaver Blended Certification
$99.00 per person
The Blended American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/AED Blended course is designed to teach students CPR for victims of all ages, use the automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking. Instruction is given on recognition of life threatening emergencies and basic CPR techniques. It is designed to provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings, and teaches both single-rescuer, AED and Choking. Upon successful completion of skills demonstration, students will receive their BLS course completion card which is valid for two years.

Part 1, American Heart Association online course
Students are emailed access to course work to be completed on the American Heart Association website. Students work at their own pace. Once the student has completed all course work, the student prints the course completion certificate to give to his instructor for Part 2. Part 1 should take about 2 hours to complete but students can work on small sections at a time and complete the course over several days if they choose.

Part 2, Hands-on skills practice session with an Authorized AHA Instructor (30 mins)
Students practice and show in person, good Compressions, Breathing Skills, and AED. These are all used in a rescue scenario where the student perform is knowledge of all three skills, Compressions, Breathing, and AED. There skills are performed for Adult, Child and Infant. Choking skills are then performed. Part 2 should take 30 minutes to an hour depending the type of class and the experience of the student. Course is complete after finishing both Part 1 and Part 2 of the course.
